- Not to be confused with Vest.
The Armor is a type of passive gear featured in The Last Stand: Dead Zone.
Description
Armor designed to deflect damage and melee forces.
Body Armor
Armor designed to deflect damage and melee forces with added protection.
Raider
An improvised vest designed to deflect damage from different forces.
Military Armor
Armor designed to deflect damage from ballistic and melee forces with added protection.
Full Body Armor
Full Body Armor designed to deflect damage and melee forces with added protection.
Combat Armor
Armor specifically designed for enduring melee combat.
Medical Armor
Full body armor designed for combat medics.
Background
Personal body armor has come full circle with the hard armor plating of old being combined with the shock absorbing fabric vests of today, creating suits which are both lighter and tougher than their predecessors. These are capable of withstanding both high velocity projectiles and strikes from a wide variety of melee weapons, making the wielder much more likely to survive whatever situation they find themselves in.
Advanced body armor is often restricted to police and military personnel but civilian variants for VIPs and security guards is available as well.
Effect
Increases Melee Resistance, Explosive Resistance, Projectile Resistance and Suppression Resistance, and decreases Move Speed and Injury chance by a percentage, depending on the Armor's level and conditions.
Combat Armor
Increases Melee Resistance, Melee Combat and Health, and decreases Ranged Combat and Injury chance by a percentage, depending on the Combat Armor's level and conditions. Can only be worn by Leaders and Fighters.
Medic Armor
Increases Melee Resistance, Explosive Resistance, Projectile Resistance, Heal Speed and Health, and decreases Move Speed by a percentage, depending on the Medical Armor's level and conditions. Can only be worn by Leaders and Medics.
