Blades are a type of melee weapon featured in The Last Stand: Union City and The Last Stand: Dead Zone.

BackgroundEdit

A well-maintained blade can go a long way for the right survivor, provided that they are aware of its limits. Generally light in weight and easy to carry, these edged weapons can be a fast and efficient means of dispatching the undead, but inevitably require maintenance; make sure to have a whet stone handy to keep them sharp.

The Last Stand: Dead Zone Edit

Bladed weapons tend to strike more quickly, but lack the knockback of blunt weapons. This makes them superior at killing zombies, but the wielding survivor is more likely to take damage, especially when facing large groups.

Medics and Recons specialize in blades, while Fighters specialize in all melee weapons.
