Crafting Kits are an item featured in The Last Stand: Dead Zone. They are used to enhance crafting items.[1]
Background[]
Crafting in the Dead Zone was fairly simple in the past: find the needed components and resources, sit down by the workbench, and get to work. Ever-ingenious survivors, however, constantly look for new ways to beef up the effectiveness of their equipment to make their lives easier. As a result, crafting kits, filled with special tools and small, intricate parts, were created by crafty survivors to further enhance their schematics.
Effect[]
Crafting kits can be obtained through scavenging in the Dead Zone, via trading with another player or by crafting them in the Components section of the Crafting menu. Once obtained, kits will appear in the component menu. Crafting kits are used in the crafting menu ā an item that is eligible to be enhanced by a kit will have an additional "Add Crafting Kit" option.
A crafting kit, when used, will boost a particular stat for the item that is crafted. Different types of crafting kits improve different stats. Crafting kits are one-time use only.
