Also known as toffee apples, candy apples are whole apples covered in hard toffee or sugar candy coating with a stick inserted as a handle. They are typically served during the autumn as it's the time of the apple harvest season. Survivors consuming these should exercise caution, as there is an urban legend where candy apples were supposedly sold with pins and razor blades in them.^[1]
