Not for damsels.
This conical hat, named hennin, was a type of headwear used by nobility women in the late Middle Ages. These hats had a veil that fell to the shoulders, or even to the ground, or was pulled forward to cover the face and women had their hair tightly tied on the scalp and hidden inside the cone, their forehead shaved to raise hairlines and worn tilted backwards at an angle. While the name has been forgotten, it has become an important part of the fairy tale princess costume.
Available in costume shops and some medieval-themed parties.
