Background[]

Having a firearm amidst the apocalypse is a godsend, but it might as well be a stapler if it's poorly kept. You'll therefore need some cleaning accessories to keep your weapon running as smooth as clockwork; for every malfunction in combat means you're one zombie closer to being overrun.

Tactics[]

It's best to give this to combat-oriented survivors (especially the Engineer, should they be equipped with non-improvised ranged weapons) to increase their effectiveness in battle. It can be used to maximize the efficiency of high accuracy weapons like long rifles, ensuring every shot hits without fail, or for improving the paltry accuracy of SMGs and the like.

It can also be useful with support classes like the Scavenger and Medic, as their low Combat skills heavily reduce their accuracy with any weapon. The kit will make them more effective in battle, but at the cost of a gear slot that could be used to enhance their respective specializations.

Obviously, survivors equipped with melee weapons will not benefit from this, so it is best to give them something else.
